Tom Brier, lawyer, author, and Congressional candidate, has endorsed Jake Miller for Cumberland County Treasurer.

In a statement, Brier said:

“Few people embody the idea of public service as much as Jake Miller. A lifelong educator and community activist, Jake has dedicated his career to improving the lives of others. Indeed, as one of Jake’s former students told me at a community event, ‘Mr. Miller changed my life.’

As someone who has seen firsthand the positive impact that Jake has had on his community, I can say without reservation that Jake possesses the judgment, intellect, and diligence necessary to safeguard Cumberland County’s financial future. It is therefore my honor to endorse Jake for Treasurer of Cumberland County.”

Jake Miller had this to say about the endorsement:

“Tom has brought a new passion to the political game, one that eschews hate for heart. He brings a breath of fresh air to the race and has given me a tremendous amount of hope for America’s future. No longer can we say ‘young people are no longer involved.’ I’m honored to receive his endorsement.”

Jake Miller is the Democratic candidate for Cumberland County Treasurer. He grew up working class and is the first in his family to receive a college degree. Miller is a Cumberland Valley teacher and former State Senate aide. He’s also a leader in his local education association, and a Judge of Elections in Hampden Township, where Jake, his wife, and their two children call home.
